Took a sterling silver ring with sentimental value in to be sized up by 1/2 size - it was difficult for the shop girl to get the ear buds out of her ears and stop smacking her gum long enough to do anything but condescend about my low value item. It never occurred to her that perhaps her resistance to accepting my business had more to do with her low-skill smith than my $50 ring. I should have known - I have taken sterling in there before and Jason doesn't flinch and did a good job on an opal ring once. But who ever else is behind the curtain had great difficulty with a native American ring I had, and he completely buggered a platinum setting that I reset with a high end fake after selling the main diamond. I thought the rude customer service left with the Russian clerk, but it would appear these two are still more interested in rebuffing my multiple small orders for repairs and acting snarky about working on noble metals that they deem beneath them. I took it to a jeweler on the square and he took care of it, while I waited for $10. I'm done. I have so many items that I want to reset, repair or re-design - but don't bother here. The work is not that consistently good, and certainly not worth the crappy attitude of a couple of shop clerks. - JASON - get some worthwhile customer service people in. These two just lost you some business.
