Poor customer service. Lack of communication and false statements. Lack of transparency.
The customer service prior to installation was great. After installation I had some concerns regarding a scratched panel as well as the fact that they quoted me a price for one size of fence and installed less than what was quoted. Both times I have called, I've been treated very rudely. No one has come out to correct the scratched panel after a week and a half and two phone calls. I was also informed twice that it is not their policy to adjust their pricing even if they short you on the installation. I would not recommend this company.
I will never recommend this company. My neighborhood's back yards are mostly stockade fences. At our community cookout this weekend, I will tell all that will listen about this company.
I had Glidden replace a section of my back fence. My copy of the estimate was very light and almost unreadable. I was supposed to have my neighbor's gate moved as it now enters my backyard. The men that worked on my fence laid a black metal gate in my front yard. In the heat, this burned an exact imprint of the gate on my lawn. I called the company to voice my concerns as the original estimator didn't have a voice mail box and never answered the phone. After weeks of trying to get these issues resolved, they offered a few grains of grass seed and said that the gate wasn't a part of the back fence estimate. They said that they would move it after I paid the remaining balance.for $375.

We bought the house with a beautiful iron fence already installed in the backyard. The one thing that I noticed was one of the gates kept sinking and the possible reason for it might of been missing screws at one of the posts. Since, it was clearly a mishap at the installation, I called them directly. Even though I was not the original purchaser, they were very receptive on the phone and had a crew come out to fix an issue. The crew came in the midst of winter that was a pleasant surprise, installed screws and raised my fence! I am very impressed and will use them in the future.
