Excellent food! Brussel sprouts, scallops and pork chops were amazing! Quaint setting.
I have to preface this review by saying that the first time I visit a restaurant, I order a burger. Not only do I love burgers, but it's a common menu item that, when done right, can really distinguish a restaurant. Rail has one if the best burgers I've ever had and definitely the best in the Indy area. I also had the gluten free peanut butter cookie ala mode and it is to die for. The cocktails are top tier. The wait staff is funny and engaging. I cannot wait to come back and try the rest of the menu, both food and drink. Come and try this amazing restaurant, I guarantee you won't regret it.
Everything was 1st Rate. Gourmet dining at Midwestern prices. Professional staff and food preparation. Classic Old Fashion. Brussel Spouts are the best ever. A must have.
I had the special, fish and chips. I was shocked when it was served and thought it was a joke. One very small piece of Cod sitting on top of about 7 sweet potato fries with a purée pea sauce over the top. It was about the size of an appetizer. Because everything was on top of the fries they were all soggy. $20.00 is a crazy price for this, besides the fact that I was still quite hungry after I finished, which took about 5 min. I don’t over eat and only weigh 170# and don’t eat super size meals, this was ridiculous though. The description was very misleading. Usually $12-$15 will get you a nice basket of fries and 3 good sized pieces of fish. Not one small chunk and 7 fries....
Very cozy and clean place. Food was awesome and we didn't have to wait for long. Highly recommend for brunch or dinner.
The only reason I even gave 2 stars is because it did at least taste good.
